FAQs
How long does roof painting last?
A professionally applied roof coating system in New Zealand typically lasts around 8–15 years, depending on the roof type, exposure to weather, and ongoing maintenance. Homes in coastal or high-sun areas may require recoating sooner.
Do you treat moss and lichen?
Yes. Proper treatment is a critical part of our process. We apply treatment to remove moss, lichen and other contaminants then thoroughly clean the roof before any coating is applied.
Is roof painting cheaper than replacement?
In many cases, yes. Roof painting is a cost-effective way to extend the life of your existing roof and restore its appearance, without the significant cost of full replacement. However, if the roof is structurally compromised, replacement may be required.
What types of roofs do you paint?
We work with common New Zealand roofing types. If you’re unsure about your roof, we can assess it during a site visit and recommend the best approach.
